1.0 INTRODUCTION TO WEBSITE
We begin with a few words of website orientation. The OpenSeminar On the Human (OSOTH) uses two kinds of screens; you are reading a Module. Modules introduce topics and direct you to assignments. Think of a module as a teacher, introducing new subjects and pointing you to class materials.
A second kind of screen, an Assignment, contains the course readings, quizzes, and links. You'll see Assignments in the column to your left. Under Assignments you'll see Links. Links are your online library and clicking on one will take you either to a reading internal to OSOTH or to an external site. OSOTH readings may include interactive exercises with multiple choice questions intended to help you understand the selection.
Here ends the first Module. Look to your left, locate "Links," and find the Assignment: "Gary Comstock: Intro to website (open)." Click there.
Note: When you have finished reading your Assignment you will be returned to this spot. When you get back, click below on ->Next and you will advance to the second Module.
