030 Making ethical decisions in research

To make ethical decisions in research we must take into consideration the interests of all individuals potentially affected by our actions. Beginning with ourselves, we must make choices that will help us accomplish our most important goals. As one of our goals is to be a member of a profession, we must take the interests of all of our colleagues into account. Does the moral circle end with our professional obligations? What are the impediments to making ethical decisions? We will take up these questions after refining our focusing on the specific area of attention: research.
